Blue Diamond is a family-run restaurant in Richmond, Ontario — a short drive from Nepean and Kanata, and about twenty-five minutes from downtown Ottawa. We opened as a Canadian bar and grill and became something more the moment we put a real tandoor in the kitchen.
Two kitchens, one team
Our main menu is what you'd hope for from a good neighbourhood grill: wings ten ways, homemade 8 oz AAA burgers, poutines, pizza made fresh in-house daily, pasta, and a proper club sandwich. Alongside it, our tandoori chefs cook authentic North Indian food — butter chicken, tikka masala, saag paneer, biryani, and fresh naan pulled hot from the clay oven.
Because both kitchens live in the same room, they cross over on purpose. Butter chicken poutine. Tandoori chicken pizza. Butter chicken mac and cheese. Order a burger and a curry at the same table — that's exactly what we're for.
Breakfast, every day
Eggs any style, benedicts, house-made pancakes and French toast, breakfast poutines, and generous wraps. Breakfast served daily from 7 AM till 2:00 PM. Monday–Friday, coffee is included with breakfast until 11 AM.
